Harvest Season 2018
Gethsemane is excited to celebrate the Harvest Season during the months of October and November. Celebrate your harvest by participating in Gethsemane’s Harvest Giving. Each member and friend of Gethsemane is asked to give a special Harvest Gift of $200 in celebration of the Harvest.
Music Ministry

Silence the Violence Concert
On Saturday, Sept, 29, at 7:30 p.m., National UMC, 3401 Nebraska Avenue, NW, Washington, D.C., will host Silence the Violence, a concert calling for the end to gun violence in America. The event will feature performances by the Augmented Eight, the Children’s Chorus of Washington, members of the Capitol Hill Chorale, the Howard University Rankin Chapel Choir, the Boy and Girl Choristers of the Washington National Cathedral, and the National UMC Men’s Ensemble. Proceeds will benefit The TraRon Center, “helping those affected by gun violence heal through the arts and activism.” General Admission tickets are $20, available at the door or online at www.nationalchurch.org/concerts.

The Annual Church Conference (formally known as Charge Conference) will be held on Saturday, September 22nd, 2018, 1:00 p.m. at Gethsemane.
The Liturgical Dance Ministry
