Religion and Race Ministry
During the month of May, Asian-Pacific American Heritage Month has been celebrated in the United States. It is a time when we honor the culture, traditions, and the history of Asian Americans and Pacific Islanders. The month of May was chosen because, on May 7, 1843, the first Japanese entered the United States. We pray for continued blessings for the Asian Americans and the Pacific Islanders.
