Gethsemane United Methodist Church kicks off its 2016 revival by Celebrating the Harvest: Reaping, Releasing, and Rejoicing! This year’s revival encourages people of all walks of life to rejoice in the bounty of God’s spiritual and physical fruits. Gethsemane’s 2016 Revival season begins October 1 and culminates at the church’s 36th Annual Homecoming Celebration on November 20th. Reverend Jason Robinson
Brooks United Methodist Church, St. Leonard, MD
On February 22, 1998, Rev. Robinson accepted his call to preach and was ordained an Itinerant Elder in the African Methodist Episcopal Churches, 151st session of the New England Annual Conference in 2002. Rev. Robinson is a 2001 Graduate of Turner Theological Seminary at The Interdenominational Theological Center in Atlanta, GA, where he received his Master’s of Divinity and a Master’s of Christian Education. In May of 2005, Rev. Robinson became a Full Member Elder in the Baltimore Washington Conference of the United Methodist Church. Presently Rev. Robinson is the Senior Pastor of Brooks United Methodist Church in St. Leonard, MD. Pastor Robinson is married to the former Dr. JaMuir Michelle Johnson and they are the proud parents of Jaya Lauren and Jason Lawrence Robinson II.

Reverend Dr. Delman Coates
Mount Ennon Baptist Church, Clinton, MD
Rev. Delman Coates is a graduate of Morehouse College (B.A. in Religion, 1995), Harvard Divinity School (Master of Divinity, 1998), and Columbia University (Master of Philosophy in Religion, 2002; Ph.D. in New Testament & Early Christianity, 2006). Dr. Coates has served as the Senior Pastor of Mt. Ennon Baptist Church in Clinton, MD since 2004. He has been happily married to Yolanda Walsh Coates of San Francisco, CA for 20 years. She is a graduate of Spelman College and Northeastern University School of Law. They are the proud parents of four children: two sons, Nathaniel and Joshua, and two twin daughters Ava Marie and Leah Blair.

Reverend Scot Moore
Judah Temple AME Zion Church, Bowie, MD
Pastor Scot Moore is the founder and Senior Pastor of Judah Temple A.M.E. Zion Church in Mitchellville, Maryland. A gifted speaker, leader, teacher, preacher, and counselor, Pastor Moore takes a holistic approach to inspire people to become all that God has created them to be. He desires to help people develop a personal relationship with God, to grow spiritually, and apply biblical teachings to real life circumstances. With his loving wife, Sharon, and sons Cameron and Dimitri by his side, Pastor Moore dedicates his life to spreading the Good News through his congregation, community, and worldwide ministries.

Reverend Patricia Allen
Oxon Hill United Methodist Church, Oxon Hill, MD
Reverend Allen received her Bachelor of Arts from the University of Illinois in 1979 and her Master of Divinity from Howard University School of Divinity in 2005. In January 2017, Reverend Allen will begin her Doctor of Ministry studies at Wesley Theological Seminary in Washington, DC.
Commissioned in 2007 and ordained May 27, 2011, Reverend Allen was appointed as pastor of Hall United Methodist Church in Glen Burnie on July 1, 2007 and served that appointment until June 30, 2015. As of July 1, 2015, Rev. Allen has been blessed to serve as pastor of Oxon Hill United Methodist Church in Oxon Hill, MD. Oxon Hill is a multi-ethnic, multi-racial, multi-generational congregation that serves God and God’s people in a variety of ways. From Boy Scouts to Bread Ministry, Oxon Hill each day of the week is worshipping, witnessing and working for the Lord.
In addition to serving as pastor, Reverend Allen also serves the United Methodist Church on both the district and conference level. She is the chairperson of the Washington East District Committee on Ordained Ministry, a presiding elder during charge conference season, a member of the Baltimore Washington Conference Board on Ordained Ministry, and a member of two peer focus groups.

Many in our community lack access to fresh fruits and vegetables. Gethsemane’s Mobile Market helps to provide families in our community with FREE fresh produce once a month. This program is supported in part by the Capitol Area Food Bank. Items arrive in the afternoons.

Each month the Gethsemane Church Family fellowships with the residents of the Prince George’s County Men’s Shelter. Help prepare and serve dinner. Students are eligible to earn community service hours.
CHURCHWIDE GLEANING | October 29th

Join your church family in the spirit of the harvest as we glean with the Mid-Atlantic Gleaning Network at the Cheltenham Warehouse. We will sort produce donated from local farmers. Bring your kids and grandkids to this activity as students are eligible to earn community service.
