9:00am – 12:00pmThis workshop is designed to help you identify your spiritual gifts and understand what you are for.  Emphasis will be on helping you commit to discovering some of your God-given gifts; helping you develop your personal stewardship mission in serving God and others within your church family; and, assisting you in selecting the place to begin serving that best expresses what God made you for.
  • Radical Hospitality through Social Media
    Saturday, July 15, 2017
10:00am – 12:00pmThis workshop is designed as an introduction to social media networks and a platform to provide the participants with recommendation for digital engagement. Emphasis will be placed on using digital communication tools to empower the Gethsemane United Methodist Church community and foster intergenerational spiritual conversations online.
  • Clarifying Your Christian Belief About the Bible
    Saturday, July 22, 2017
10:00am – 12:00pmThis is a follow-up session for participants who were enrolled in the January “J Term” course, however, anyone interested can attend.  The class was designed to provide a forum for people to express and clarify their faith.  In a culture where there are many voices, influences, and worldly views, it sometimes becomes confusing and difficult to understand, explain, and defend Christian faith.  The interactive class was designed to equip and encourage individuals to clearly and effectively assess why they believe what they believe.  This session will focus on Christian beliefs about the Bible.  [/su_spoiler]
