Grace and peace saints! The pantry is open weekly on Saturdays from 10:00 am-1:00 pm. If you are in need of grocery items you can visit the pantry during those hours. Also, if you know of a FAMILY OR ANYONE in need, please pass on this information. Thank you.
Gmen Breakfast Celebration
Greetings to all Men of Gethsemane to include our young Men and Journey UMC Men and Young Men-
Our next Gmen Celebration breakfast will be on July 26th 2025 at 9:30 am at Rips Country Inn located in Bowie, Md. at 3809 Crain Hwy, Bowie,Md. 20716. Please be prompt and enjoy breakfast and fellowship with our young men. There will also be a quarterly Birthday celebration for all men with Birthdays in May, June and July.
I am looking forward to seeing all of you at this breakfast celebration if possible. Our next scheduled meeting will be on August 16th 2025 at Gethsemane UMC at 9:30 am to prepare for our Men’s day celebration on September 28th,2025. If you have any questions please contact me at 240-938-9536.

Youth Prayer Call
The Cluster Youth prayer call is today @ 7 pm. The prayer call will be facilitated by Pastor Nia. We ask that parents and guardians will help us by making sure your young people are logging into the call EVERY Sunday evening at 7pm. The call should not last more than 10 minutes. Greeting Gethsemane Church Family
Our Monday Bible/Disciple Study class just finished our study on the Book of Isaiah which was an awesome study! We would like to invite you to our final session before we break for the summer on July 28, 2025. During this session, we are honored to have a guest presenter, Reverend Dr. Ronald Glenn, providing additional thoughts and insights on the Book of Isaiah. Dr. Glenn listed the following resource that you might want to take a look at should you have a chance: Commentary on the Book of Isaiah: An In-Depth Look at the Gospel of the Old Testament by Father Mitch Pacwa.
Most of you might remember Dr. Glenn, who is the author of “Even If: Trusting God When The Unthinkable Happens”, which is one of the books we used in a previous Bible Study, and he came to Gethsemane for a book discussion during one of our Gethsemane Reads sessions led by Reverend Obie Wright. I hope and pray that each of you will be able to join in for our Bible Study session on Monday, July 28, 2025 at 10:00am for this insightful session on the Book of Isaiah! Also, we invite you to join one or more of our Bible Studies in the Fall, in which more information will be forthcoming from our Christian Education Ministry!
